Andrew's New Games

Remember this post, when I asked you to tell me I'm fat? Well now that I only have 4 pounds to go (to get to my pre-pregnancy weight), my oldest son has decided to get in on the "fun". Obviously he read my post. Remember he is a genius? Not only can he pull up my blog on the computer, but he can also read. At two and a half. Even I am impressed.

You know how I know that he has read my post? Because Andrew has come up with two new games that he likes to play with mama. To help her lose the weight. Because he is just considerate and helpful like that.

1). "Chase Me". Yes. Some of you may also play this game in your house or yard. Chase Me involves the mama running behind her wonderful offspring for what seems like hours. We even have the variation of Chase Me, with another game called Race. Which also involves the mama chasing the tire-less, (is that a word?) wonderful child. Just a different title. Calories burned from cardio: probably 2,000.

2). "Carry Both the Boys." When will I learn that you never, never introduce a two year old to something new unless you always want to do that new thing?! Carry Both the Boys involves me carrying both. the. boys. A 30 pounder in one arm. A 17 pounder in the other. Although, I must admit, that even if my arms are about to fall off, it is sweet to see Andrew reach over and kiss Baby Ben when I am Carrying Both the Boys around the house. Calories burned from weight training: feels like 3,500.

So with Andrew's new "games" and new motivation to get into a little black dress by May 18 (party for Rob's job), I just may lose those four pounds. But keep telling me I am fat. Just in case.

that's great! mj told me (right after i had mills) that "your stomach still kinda goes out like this(shows me) but the rest of you is straight" (nodding like-at least that is good!) and adds "but your stomach just goes out like this" (arms sticking way out). "but i'm not going to say fat because you told me that's not nice" that was the beginning of my motivation to get baby weight off!
