A Moment

I wouldn't call myself absent-minded. I am usually right on top of things. Very punctual, observant, efficient. But, even I, have my moments. You know, when you find the remote control in the fridge (yes, I admit to that).

Sunday morning, I cooked biscuits. And by "cooked" I mean I opened a can of Pillsbury biscuits. Reduced-fat, Golden Wheat to be exact. If you haven't tried them, you should. They are good! I packaged the left-over biscuits in a tupperware and stored them away.

On Tuesday evening, as I was putting away leftovers from dinner, I reached to the top of the cabinet where I keep the tupperware, and I noticed something odd. (No, not the Publix brand prange sherbet container. It was, in fact, empty. And, yes, I do have Auburn tupperware in my pantry. I married and AU grad, remember?!)
Upon closer inspection, I found this:
Yep. The biscuits from Sunday morning, stored neatly away in my pantry. Or as neatly as you can organize your tupperware drawer/shelf/area. And here's the thing. For two whole days I hadn't even missed them. Not opened my fridge and wondered, "Where are those biscuits that I made yesterday?"
I bet you are also wondering, "Christy, do you really have nothing better to do with you time than take pictures of mis-placed food?" Let me remind you, it is not how much time you have, but what you do with your time. I? Choose to photograph evidence of my not-quite-so seldom as I would like to believe, absent-mindedness.
Besides, that is more fun than folding laundry any day!
