Sure. Why Not?
I let Andrew play in the backyard as I unloaded the car and finished a conversation with mama. When I went to check on him, I found him with one arm out of his shirt, and he was asking to "take bath". I was confused until I remembered that the baby pool was full of water. Rain water.
So I did what any sensible mother would do when it is 70 degrees in January, and your child is asking to get into a baby pool full of rainwater.
I stripped him down and let him at it!
He actually played in the pool for about 20 minutes before his lips started turning blue. At that point I made him get out. And the best part? He went down for a nap like a champ! So far, no negative side effects from the rainwater, but if he starts clucking like a chicken or grows an extra appendage I guess we will know why.
