Third Birthday Story and Random Pictures

Just a few pictures that I wanted to share that have no real story. Except the one of Andrew. On the morning of his third birthday. I should have known that something was amiss when he woke up that morning saying, "I tired mommy." His reply to, "Here is the birthday boy!"?  "I not birthday boy. I big boy." He ended the evening by refusing to eat or open birthday gifts and then? Puked. Just before asking to go to bed.

We still drug him to the beach a few days later. Sure he whined a little more than usual. But he asked to play in the water, pool, and sand. And we let him. For three days. Before his cough became concerning and we headed home. The diagnosis from the doctor? Strep and bronchitis. Poor baby. Hindsight is 20/20 because now I look at this picture and his eyes show that he is not feeling well.
