And He is a Genius

I gave Andrew my cold. What can I say? I am a share-er, ya'll. Okay, we know this is a joke because the last thing a mom wants to share with her child is a nasty cold. Because, really, is there anything more pathetic than a sick baby?! (I could go off on a tangent here about the differences in how men and women tolerate being sick and how God made us different in this department. Very different. But, that is another post.)

Anyway. Andrew has had a very runny nose all week. Just plain snotty. Snot bubbles. Snot running into his mouth. Snot rubbed all over his face. Snot. We had to keep a roll of tissue in every room of the house to quickly grab that snot. Thankfully, during this cold, he has became used to me wiping his nose. Without pitching a fit. He will even stick his face out for his nose to be wiped.

Yesterday morning, I was working in the kitchen, and Andrew was playing in the den. I hear him come into the kitchen, "Mama". I turn around and find the poor babe walking into the kitchen, CARRYING the roll of tissue with snot running into his mouth. He wanted his nose wiped, ya'll. It sure is tough being a toddler.
