Grocery Update

My cousin, H, told me about a wonderful website, called www.thegrocerygame.com . This website encourages "stockpiling" certain groceries you always buy when they are at their lowest price. The website will let you know via the "list" when to buy certain items. I signed up for a one month trial for $1. After the trial, I will be charged $10 per month. I can cancel anytime without a fee. So I will let you know how it goes and if I save any money. My cousin saved $2,000 last year!! I hope we get the same results.

On another money saving note, a friend told me to call my cable company and ask if I can get a new rate on our "bundle" for cable and internet (we don't have a land telephone line). Apparently cheaper bundle prices are available each year, but you have to call your cable company to take advantage of them. My friend wound up saving about $50 per month on her bundle for MORE services! I called yesterday (during the middle of the day and did not experience a hold) and am now saving $30 per month for the same serives that I already receive. I am pretty proud of myself for saving us this money each month. And, it only took a 5 minute phone call!!
