No, I didn't forget about the first Happy Birthday post for my baby. Baby Ben. But, I have been busy, busy getting ready for his parties. So, the official birthday/update post will have to wait.
In regards to his brother, though, the official diagnosis for Andrew was strep. And after a round of antibiotics......he has a cold. Or probably just allergies.
And have I mentioned that Andrew did not return to school this year? Actually, I know I haven't mentioned it. I have been avoiding the post. Because I couldn't decide if I really wanted to bore you with all the reasons why we chose to keep him out this year. It was NOT because we didn't love his school. Because we loved, loved FUMC preschool.
So, yeah. I have both boys home with me. All day. Every day. And? I love it!! But, it does hinder the blogging. Becaue I am not a super mom. And I have no brain cells left for intelligent conversation after 8pm.
I just realized that the title of this post is "Happy Birthday Baby Ben", yet I only talk about him for three sentences. While I devoted three paragraphs to his older brother. Sheesh. I guess I really am not a super mom. But this wasn't the official post of birthday parties and developmental updates.....so I will cut myself some (alot) of slack. See, my brain cells really are fried after 8pm...............

Happy birthday, Ben! Happy birthday, Mama. You have officially surpassed the one year mark with two boys. It really does get a little easier from here.
