Don't Worry. He Knows the UGA Fight Song.

I still can't believe that my children's first football game was an A Day game. Not a UGA football game, not even the G Day game. But Auburn's spring game.

And?

I loved it.

Even worse?

I have been looking forward to this game for almost a year. That's right, Rob and I had been planning on taking Andrew to this spring game at Auburn for almost a year. Because Andrew has been obsessed with Aubie, we figured this game would be our best chance to see him....live.

Of course, we weren't counting on 63,000 other families to be thinking the same thing. So we saw Aubie from afar. And that satisfied Andrew.

I tried to teach Andrew to say "Go Dawgs" if he saw Aubie. Rob overheard my conversation with our son and said with a very serious face, "I heard you. And that's not funny."

But really? It would have been hilarious!!

Ha! I can just hear Rob saying that! I'm glad ya'll had a great time! I think we're going to try to take Clay to his first football game at the A-day game next year! We'll have to make it a family event and all get together!
