Nativity Tradition

Growing up, it was my "job" to arrange the nativity at Christmastime. I don't remember when I started this important task, but I do remember that I was still setting out the nativity even when I came home from college on Christmas break.

This year, I decided to pass on the tradition to Andrew. As I retrieved each figurine out of it's box, I explained the characters and let him place them around the stable.

It was all going smoothly until I pulled Abraham out of his box. Then Ruth. Hmm...Fontanini, I think you may need to re-read the story of the Birth of Jesus Christ. Pretty sure Abraham and Ruth weren't visiting Mary and Joseph at the stable that day.

At least Andrew didn't seem to notice.

Yet.

Here is some of Andrew's work. The wise men were made by Rob's grandmother.

What traditions do you have in your family that are Christ-centered?
