Over It

Swollen feet and hands; belly that extends far beyond that which is "cute"; having two outfits that I can still fit into; a waddle; exhaustion; finding myself in awkward positions to put on my shoes; can't seem to find the right position to fall asleep; congestion; being rudely awoken by my own snoring; constantly being too hot; wanting nothing more than the tallest glass of ice cold water (and the daily Diet Coke); and the constant trips to the bathroom, especially the hourly ones between 10pm-2am.

I am so over this pregnancy! Thank goodness I only have 1 week and 6 days. That's right, I am now counting the days. While I am not sure if I am ready to bring home a newborn, I am definitely ready to be D.O.N.E. with this pregnancy.

I'm over it!

In fact, I am so over it, I don't even care about my To Do list anymore. Who will notice if the baseboards or blinds are cleaned now or.....never? Do I really need to have the swing and bouncy seat down from the attic before the baby comes? Will two clean bottles be okay for a few days, especially if I am planning on nursing? If I go into labor before the scheduled c-section, can I just throw a few necessities in a bag and call it my "hospital/labor bag"? Can installing the car seat wait until just before we bring Ben home? Will Rob really mind if we have frozen pizza for dinner again tonight? Because, honestly, my brain can't come up with a better option.

Maybe I will get one final burst of motivation before #2 arrives. Otherwise, I am completely
OVER IT!
