Andrew's Jobsite

Andrew loves going to visit Rob at his job site. Something about boys and big machines. He just can't get enough.

Although he found the big bulldozers and back hoes a little intimidating at first, he now insists on sitting in them and "driving".

Oh. And the dump trucks and trash trucks. Rarely an hour goes by in my day when we aren't looking for or talking about dump trucks and trash trucks.

Because Daddy has a job site, I thought it was only necessary for Andrew to have a "job site" as well.

Check it out:

Andrew is so proud of his job site. He "work hard like daddy" as he shovels the sand out of the sandbox and all over our yard. We have an almost life sized dump truck that he fills with sand, leaves, sticks, weeds, and then pushes to a corner of our yard where he dumps his collections.
In Andrew's mind, Rob has the coolest job around. He even tells Rob to "wear hat daddy" because he thinks Rob needs to wear his hard hat when driving the heavy equipment. Of course, he doesn't understand that Rob sits in an office all day. Only managing those who actually drive the big machines. At this age, what he doesn't know, want hurt him.

What is it with boys and their construction vehicles!?!? Clay LOVES his big dump truck! That's the first toy he goes to!

I hope he always feels that way about his daddy. It's so sweet isn't it?
