A Trip to the Lake

A few weekends ago, we packed up the fam and headed to the lake. My granddaddy has a lakehouse about an hours drive from here, and we are so grateful to be able to use the house and boat.

Andrew loved riding on the boat! He put the life jacket on without complaining and we were off!

But, first, Rob taught Andrew how to blow the horn of the boat. The serious fishermen on the lake were mighty appreciative.

Boating makes you hungry.

He is just a touch adventurous.

A good time was had by all. I would love to say we were well rested when we came back, but Andrew figured out how to jump out of the pack-n-play on this trip. So none of us got much sleep.

I know Andrew had a good time, though, because he asked to go on a boat ride every morning the following week.
