Oh Be Careful Little Mouth What You Say

I find myself singing that song to Andrew often. You know:
Oh be careful little hands what you do; Oh be careful little hands what you do; For the Father up above is looking down in love; Oh be careful little hands what you do.
(On a completely random side note, why is it I am constantly singing Andrew songs that, when I was younger, I detested!?)
Anyway.
I have recently found out that I need to heed the words of advice in this song. Especially now that my son is a parrot! As in he repeats anything I say; if I ask him to or not.
Case in point:
We were driving around town the other day, and I pulled into a turn lane at a red light. Realizing that I needed to go straight instead of turn, I said (to no one in particular), "Oh shoot! I need to get in the other lane!". I did not think twice about my audience in the backseat.
Not more than two seconds passed between my statement and Andrew's next words: "Oh shoo. Oh shoo"!
I about wrecked I was laughing so hard! I can't believe that little booger is copying me!
And the story doesn't end there. No. Just when I though he had forgotten about my "slang", I heard him exclaim as we were finger painting today, "Oh shoo. Oh shoo!".
So not only is he a parrot, he is a parrot who never forgets!!
