Memorial Day Weekend

Staycation? Is that what they're calling it these days? Where you stay at home for a vacation. Well that is exactly what we did for Memorial Day weekend. We stayed at home. In fact, I think I can count on one hand the exact number of times we even left the house.

Having the boys all to myself for an entire weekend is rare. We weren't going out of town; no one was coming into town; we (I) hadn't booked our weekend full of outings, errands, yard work, etc. And, to top it all off, it was a three day weekend!! We lounged in our pj's in the mornings and played in the yard when it wasn't raining. We even managed to squeeze in some yard work when Andrew wasn't looking! We grilled out, dined out, and even had dinner with friends one night. It was a perfect weekend.
