Last week was Andrew's last day of his first year of MMO. Technically, I think it was a church preschool, but on his first day, I told his teachers that I didn't care if he learned anything this year. Because that is the kind of mother that I am. Honestly, I just wanted him to play. Away from mama. With other kids. And, give me a chance to run errands, clean the house, cook, and blog twice a week. It worked out well for both of us. I was sad to see his first year end. He started the year crawling and only saying a few words. He ended the year running and repeating anything asked of him. I think he was real proud of himself on his last day of school. He refused to let me help him with his big boy drink with a straw.
Please, I am a big boy now!

So, Andrew wasn't the only unhappy kid in this class picture. He was mad because we took a toy away from him to sit down. When we gave the toy back, he would have nothing to do with it, of course! Notice the sweet girl consoling Andrew!

He posed by himself for this shot.

So proud that he could crawl through the tunnel.
The scratch on his face was from falling off the slide earlier in the day. Always something, right? And, this green t-shirt? Was the first piece of clothing that Andrew had an opinion on. When I took it off of him that night to change into his pj's, he cried and tried to put the shirt back on! So I let him sleep in it. That morning I had to convince him to try a shirt with baseballs on it, just to get the green t-shirt off.
Then he started saying, "noooo" to every shirt I pulled out in the mornings. So I stopped asking. Because I figured out real quick that he only wants to wear one of three t-shirts: a train, baseballs, and this green t-shirt. And that won't work for mama.

Awwwww... he's growing up so fast!! I love the class picture! Too funny!
There are days we go through almost every piece of clothing in Eli's drawer until I finally wrestle him to the ground and just put something on him. Why does a toddler boy care what they wear anyway? Just be sure to hide any hand-me-downs that you would never want them caught dead in because those will quickly become their favorites. Luke's is a bright yellow muscle tee with a huge lizard stretched across the front.
The last day of David's 3K program was so sad....Because my babysitters were gone!
