Rain, Rain Go Away

Andrew and I are both ready for Spring Break to be over. He needs to be at school! We have had a busy, busy two weeks and we need a break from the travel....and bad weather that coops us up in the house for days!

We started SB 2009 with a trip to Mexico Beach. We left on Monday and headed home on Wednesday. More about the trip in another post, complete with pictures. Let's see.....got home on Wednesday afternoon....washed a load of laundry....and headed to Atlanta on Thursday morning. Spent the night with Rob's parents and headed to Serenbe on Friday morning for a wedding (where Andrew almost died, seriously, but again, that's another post). Headed back to Albany on Sunday morning.

We spent Monday and Tuesday here at the house. Then I took Andrew back to Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon to stay with his g-parents while I spent the night with a good friend and had a little Spring Break of my own. Thursday night, Rob and I had a date, complete with new episodes of "The Office" and "30 Rock". Rob's parents brought Andrew back on Friday afternoon and stayed the weekend for Easter Festivities.

So, I can fill up about a week's worth of posts on our two-week spring break. I just have to get the pictures downloaded to the computer and actually use my brain cells to write a sentence.

In the meantime, in tribute to the severe weather we have been having, like every other day, I am posting some recent pictures of Andrew playing in the mud puddles that collected after about 14 inches of rain in 36 hours.

Because, I know you are wondering.....Yes, he did actually drink some of the rain water....And, he was quite proud of himself!
