Last Thursday was Andrew's first Easter Egg Hunt during his class' Easter Party. Now, I have to admit, that Andrew and I have been practicing his egg hunting skills. For weeks, we have been hiding and finding eggs around the house and yard. And ya'll, all that hard work paid off because he hunted those eggs like a pro. First in Line, of couse. This egg hunting business is serious.

He had more eggs in his basket than any other child!

Out of my way!
Now, to the most important part, where's the candy inside the eggs?!

Uh....where's the candy?

Hey Teacher, there's no candy in my egg!
He really was the cutest little egg hunter! He had a blast, and I was so proud that all of our egg-hunting practice paid off. We almost stopped practicing when he cried after I pulled out the eggs one afternoon. But I told him to tough it out, practice makes perfect, and big boys don't cry. So we pushed through and were rewarded with a great hunt!
After all that hard work, we are rewarding ourselves with a vacay to the beach this week. Don't worry, I am leaving the eggs at home.

This is too funny. It really does look like he's saying, "This is lame. Where's my candy?"
Ya'll have fun at the beach!
