It's All Fun and Games, To Him Anyway

I knew when Andrew started walking, he wouldn't look back. And he hasn't. Since he began walking, I have only seen him crawl a handful of times. In fact, he was only walking for about a week when he figured out how to RUN.

His ability to run is too cute. I really couldn't believe how easily and quickly he picked up this skill. I loved watching him run all over the house and in the yard. Now that he has mastered running, he is beginning to pick up speed. This sprinting was also quite cute.

Until.

He grabbed a "no touch" object and RAN. Away from me.

Laughing.

I also thought his newly acquired skill of opening the doors was a sure sign that he was a genius. "He is so smart", I proudly beamed. I even filmed him opening the pantry door, grabbing a dog biscuit, and walking to the back door to give the treat to Bentley. This little "trick" was so cute the first couple of times.

However, Andrew didn't want to stop after 2, 3, 4 treats for Bentley. As you can imagine, this got old. Real fast.

Then.

He took a detour to the den with the dog biscuit and began gnawing and sucking on the thing!!

And. Do you know what he did when I tried to get the biscuit out of his mouth?

He RAN.

Away from me.

Laughing.

I love it! I can hear the giggles right now.

Sorry I have been out of touch so much lately.
