A hiatus.
A rest.
A break.
A much needed blogging break.
I am not going to be a blogger who leaves you hanging for months or years. Just abruptly stopping the updates and stories.
Nope. I am going to give you a head's up. A warning.
I am taking a break from blogging. An indefinite break. Maybe one week. Maybe one month. Maybe 6 months.
During this season of my life I am having to learn to say 'no'. And my blog has taken the brunt of my new vocabulary. With not enough time during the day to meet my blogging expectations (I am a classic over-achiever. Not happy unless I exceed my goal.), and not enough energy to type out the days thoughts and events when I have the time, this is just not the season for me to be a blogger.
And, at the end of the day? When I do have more than five minutes at the computer? I want to read about your life. Not re-hash the events of my day. Not that I don't think they are significant. Or that I love my kids any less. I just don't have to blog to find release or de-stress. My de-stress method is reading. Not composing an article about the cute things my kids that day or the deep thoughts I had when my one year old told me "No Mama" when I started to sing him to sleep.
And all that may be fine for you. Your release. For your season of life. And I am glad that some of you continue to blog.....or what would I read?
But this combination of my personality with not enough time to blog is too much pressure. Pressure that I have put on myself and pressure that I need to lose.
So. While I enjoy writing, for now, my blogging aspirations must remain on hold. I think I will be back. In some form or fashion.
Afterall, my kids are too cute to not talk about them!

I'll miss keeping up with you and your boys, but I so understand. Enjoy your reading time!
i'll miss reading about your life, but so thankful i get to share in it in person still:)
Christy,
I totally get it. You know I do...we have talked about this type thing alot! You're a good blogger though and perhaps when you aren't constantly wiping butts, noses, and messes up off the floor, or fighting pregnany-related nausea, then you can make us laugh once again! Until then, I"ll hear your stories in person! : )
