Eleven Months

Happy Eleven Months, Baby Ben!!
You
Won't
Be
A
Baby
Much Longer!

One more month and we will be celebrating the Big #1! I really think Ben's first year flew by way faster than Andrew's first year! A blink, really. I am glad for this blog and happy I decided to do this monthly birthday deal so that I could chronicle Ben's first year. Otherwise, I am not sure I would remember any of it!

Just a few days after I posted his 10 month update, Ben started saying.......Bye Bye! Complete with a wave. Precious. He is such an observant little fellow, he even says his only word when he hears "bye" used in any capacity. Toys that tell you bye as they cut off......Ben says bye bye, bye bye. I tell someone bye on the phone.....I hear Ben bye bye, bye bye.

He is still not very interested in walking. He has begun to take a few steps behind toys that roll to assist in walking. But he is very content crawling. He has figured out that is the fastest way to get him where he wants to go.

Ben loves his big brother and the two have begun to play "nicely" more and more. He tries to keep up by crawling and climbing and following Andrew. Speaking of climbing, that boy climbs anywhere and everywhere. Just today, he climbed onto the chair of the kid's table, then onto the table, and was reaching up to play with the lightswitches when I grabbed him.

He also discovered what happens when he throws his lovey out of his crib during naptime.

Ben still has only two teeth. We thought he was for sure cutting the top two a few weeks ago, but the teeth have yet to make an appearance. And with all the drama that accompanied the last two teeth....I think I am fine with just two teeth for now!

He is a sweetie and a cuddler and a persistent little fellow! We love him more and more everyday!
